Easily the worst of the series

I just finished watching all 9 COTC films, and this one was easily the worst.
On the whole, the series isn't that great, I'd describe them as being 'almost' watchable, but Revelation wasn't even that.

"Well...I've seen enough. Come on Charlie, we're going home."

Glad I'm not the only one who thought Part 6 blew. I've owned all these films on DVD for years-- bought 'em way back in 2002 when Dimension/Miramax still owned them and released them as standalone discs-- and I have a soft spot for the whole series, really, but this is among my favorite of the sequels. The only positive for Part 6 was John Franklin, but even that couldn't save it.

I actually like this one a lot better than Part 6. It's one of the better sequels for me. All of the films are good in their own way for me; some are just better than others.

I'd have to agree with the other posters, this one is a considerable improvement over 666. That movie was absolutely unbearable.

I'd say Revelation almost ties with Issac's Return as the worst entry in the series. This one doesn't have He Who Walks Behind the Rows characterized as a smarmy, profanity-spewing douchebag, though, so I rate it a decimal higher.

If this is a consular ship, where is the ambassador?

I actually think its one of the better sequels in the series; way better than part 6, for sure.
