The action, the plot, the martial arts, Don Davis's wonderful score, the philosophy (though not particularly the epistemological parts, that's nothing new for movies, I like it on a more symbolic level, like the Baurillard stuff)

Of course. I've seen it many many times too. I worked in a theatre at the time.

Hmm. Choosing one to be is much different from choosing my favorite. I'd say Rama-Kandra. Or Seraph. My favorite character is Smith, because Hugo Weaving did a great job, but I wouldn't want to be him.

www.code-matrix.net - A good French site updated often, has stuff you won't get elsewhere (like Enter the Matrix movies, though medium quality).
www.theanimatrix.com - If you haven't seen all 9 episodes, you can at least download 4 here. Especially check out the 2nd Renaissance, as I feel it makes the 3rd movie more satisfying. At some point go out of your way to see Final Flight of the Osiris, as it features the most realistic CGI humans ever, and ties in to the video game and 2nd movie.
There's a great essay on Jay Cost's site (he's a guy on these boards) about some of the philosophy in the 2nd movie, but I can't find it.

www.metacortechs.com - You really need no life to get into this, but this is one of first pages found that is part of a very elaborate ARG (Alternate Reality Game). It's not clear whether this has any official connection with the matrix franchise.
