Season One DVD Review

Here's a noteworthy bit from the final paragraph of the review:

I heard Mike Binder say something really interesting in the commentary track on the pilot; he wrote the third season of the show. As I said before, this was a 2 season series, so it sounds as though Binder has a season of unshot scripts. I hope HBO was paying attention and would be interested in including those on the second season DVD set; I'm sure fans would love to read them.

Don't do it, Binder! Keep those babies guarded until HBO comes crawling back, begging you to make S3!! I realize there's likely a snowballs chance in hell of it happening, but I think it'd be fantastic since it's already written. Maybe Binder could even rewrite the finale to give the show some closure (I actually can't recall exactly how S2 ended).

I can understand why many did not like this show - it was often uncomfortable to watch (in a good way), but it was friggin' wonderful stuff.

The way many feel about MOTMM is the way I feel about most of "Sex and the City", so it takes all kinds, eh?

Binder - if you're out there reading - your stuff rocks. Showed my other half "The Upside of Anger" over the weekend and when it was over, we got into this HUGE argument about it that lasted hours. I seem to recall similar arguments (debates?) after watching eps of MOTMM. Yay! Arguing rocks! Makes way for discussion. Such times can be a true testament of good material.

I think Season 2 ended with Donna confessing that she kissed the other guy, and it hurt Mickey so bad that he couldn't tell her about his "Happy Ending" (which he had planned to)

Yes, it was a good premise for a show, but I was cringing over and over again because the guy kept making the exact wrong moves.
