Think about it. The motorcycle or moped (whatever) guy or kid who was the only one to escape the spiders just pissed his pants. He ends up in the caves, and he hasn't changed his pants. Hours later they all meet up again. Whoa he's gotta reek but noone seems to mind. Maybe because of all the metan gas around.
