Why did it bomb at the Box Office?

I know some people will try and argue it was the negative reviews, but Sandler's movies have never been a hit with critics so it doesn't make sense to say this one flopped because of bad reviews. It also came out at a time where Sandler's comedies were all grossing over $100 million each, yet this one only made $23 million when it was released.

Why do you guys think this was a flop, especially being released at a time when most holiday themed films are. Do you think people just weren't interested in a PG-13 animated movie because that's the only reason I can think of why it might've not done well.

Except Little Nicky, which flopped hard.

reply

Little Nicky was an exception. It was a bad concept for a film in general and no actor could have made it a sellable film.

reply

LITTLE NICKY ROCKS...HARD.

reply

No it doesn't. Even as someone that likes some of the Sandler films that a lot of people hate that movie is a pile of shit.

reply

TRUE SANDLER FANS LIKE ALL HIS FILMS...EXCEPT GOING OVERBOARD AND JACK & JILL.

reply

The Ridiculous 6 and Grown Ups 2 were also shit.

reply

YES...THOSE ARE ALSO SHIT...STINKY SHIT AT THAT.
