This IS ALL QT's Fourth Film... It's One Film... Will It Be Meshed Ever?

They have the double feature Blu Ray; do you think this is the first step of getting rid of the Bride in Car Trailer thing and just connect the films with a cool Intermission or... something? Make the thing a wonderful epic... It IS after all one film, unlike the Godfather movies, which is why Tarantino put FOURTH FILM in the opening (which for some reason Stephen King protested)... Anyhow... Just wondering if this will ever just be Lawrence of Arabia already!!!!!!

Well said and I agree wholeheartedly. Since I first saw Vol. 2 at the time of its release, I've considered this to be one film, and arguably, his best work to date. I don't even entertain the debates of 'which one is better'- because, as you said - it's ONE film. I assume the running time is why it was released as two, and I'm pretty sure some good stuff still ended up on the cutting floor.

Anyway, I expect that people who love it like I do make time for both when the mood strikes to revisit this masterpiece. I know I can't watch one without the other.

Tarantino conceived it as one film, he shot it as one film, and to this day he considers it to be one film.

It only became two releases because exec producer Harvey Weinstein wanted more ticket $ale$. His reasons were- A) many people simply will not sit through a 4 hour theater showing, even with an intermission at the halfway point and B) you can only show a 4 hour movie two or three times a day. Splitting it in half was all about him wanting to make as much money as possible.

It's possible to see The Whole Bloody Affair if you really want to, but I still want it to get an official release someday.
