This Movie is good.

Ok listen. I personally have had this movie for a while, and seen it several times. This is a good movie whether your a fan of Vin Diesel or not. I think hes a great actor, although xXx in my opinion sucked. It didnt have much of a plot. But this movie, originally titled Diablo, is a awesome piece of work. Its entertaining and has alot of action to. So for those who are judging this movie without seeing it, you can go to hell.

seen it, found it crap.
the few existing fragments of plot make no sense at all, the movie is badly directed and most of the actors suck.
it's not that vin diesel is a bad actor but he has developed a talent for picking really bad roles and it seems that doesn't care about his image at all.
entertaining (after all it isn't) & action do NOT make a good movie. see for yourself if you don't believe me but don't say you haven't been warned. [3/10]

i liked 'a man apart' the first two times when it was called 'hard to kill' and collaterial damage' this movie will crash and burn @ the box office

reply

Wait, I'm confused... I just saw LoTR today for the first time, and that was the first time I ever heard of "A Man Apart," how have y'all seen it already? When was it supposed to come out, did it already? Someone please set me straight! :)

I agree with Shadow when he said that Vin Diesel has developed a talent for picking crap-ass roles. I'd find it more interesting if Vin decides to go back to writing / directing to see how he does (like Multi-facial and Strays). The man is talented, he just doesn't seem to want to show it anymore.

looks like what we saw won't make it to the big screen. although i guess this is beyond remedy by editing it's probably worth a try.

How the heck did you guys manage to see the movie? It's supposed to be released April 4th. Now it's Feb 24th. Would someone enlighten me?

Actually the movie was much better than I expected. A decent crime flick, and Vin was not bad at all.

reply

good

reply

Ya it wasn't too bad.

reply

it just needed more action. It had that whole 80s action movie vibe going for it.

reply

Movie was pretty bad. I agree with the poster above who said that Diesel seems to be cast in really bad movies.

Fast and the Furious wasnt exactly cinema art but it was FUN. Every other Vin Diesel movie pretty much has the same feel. Cheap and badly directed.

So you kiss F&F's rear because it was "FUN," yet claim that every other Diesel film is "Cheap and badly directed?" Cheap like Pitch Black and Find Me Guilty? You probably think XXX was a classic, right?

Lay off the herb.

reply

XXX was garbage like all is other movies.

As I said, F&F was fun eye candy. It had horrible writing and the acting sucked but it had hot chicks and fast cars. In other words fun to watch.

Never said it was a classic nor was it a well made movie.

reply

i to think this movie is probably Diesel's best film to date.

i liked xXx though but i gave that a 7/10.

Find Me Guilty was solid to for it's type of film. i gave that a 7-8/10.

A Man Apart = 8/10... MUCH better than it's current average rating suggests.

yeah, this movie wasn't that good (in my view). Action doesn't make a great movie, and Vin Diesel is not a great actor by any means. He is a good action star, but that is it.

It was entertaining.

Clark's destiny = Superman, Lex Luthor & Lois Lane.
