Am I the only person who loves this movie?

I mean, I know that it has its faults, but I thought that there were some parts of this film that were genuinely enjoyable. Any thoughts?

I'm a little PO'd that Gwyneth did this just for the money, and bashed it. I LOVED this film! Since I don't know what was the intended version before this final film, I only have this version to go by, and I LOVED IT! This film teaches you a lot of lessons - how to deal with people, happiness, and love.

I really loved this movie as well - I saw the potential in a young person who believed in herself and got everything she wanted. I want to purchase the movie..

I enjoy it whenever I watch it. It's not trying to be an Oscar winner. It's just a nice chick flick to watch on a day when you're feeling horrible. It's light and positive. Perfect of you want to escape for a little while.

I enjoyed it, watching it on TV now. However, I wouldn't be sure if I'd pay to see it.

Love Mike Myers in the film though!

I tune into the film every time it shows up on cable. Many funny and genuine moments. As a male, I loved the skimpy outfits and Gweneth and Christina in their bathing suits. The director, Bruno Barretto, also made a film called Bossa Nova which is even more enjoyable.

No - I absolutely love this movie! It is hillarious in spots, cheesy all over, and just a lot of light hearted fun. But although it is simplistic it does demonstrate a lesson. Don't be afraid to take some risks in order to get what you want but also realize that what you ultimately want may change along the way so be ready to make some adjustments to your plan. Sure its unbelievable but since when are all movies supposed to be believable? It's fun! Sit back, laugh at the funny parts, cry at the touching parts and have a great time.

My daughters love it which is pretty surprising for cynical teenagers and also means I have seen it about a million times.

I didn't love it, but it's far from horrible. A 5,0 rating is pretty fair for it. I just watched it for the 1st time on Netflix.

Bruno Barreto is a pretty talented director, but I guess even him wasn't feeling very secure about the movie he made. I mean, he endeded the movie with Bloppers and then a musical act!

Those are the 2 cheesiest ways to end a comedy in a high note, so the viewers leave the theatre with a good feeling.

You should never use any of them, but if you really feel you move sucks, you use one. To use BOTH is really a sign you just don't have any faith in your move.
