Grows with repeated viewings....

A few things that are really wonderful about this flick...

Paul Le Mat's performance (I would love to know if any of the banter between him and the main character was ad-libbed - their dialog together is so flawless).

The police officer crying along with the Arliss Howard's character when Howard is in jail.

When Arliss Howard leaves jail and the little Black boy wrecks his bike - you can tell that wreck was not done on purpose and I'd love to know the history of that shot.

Michael Parks - does he not nail every role he is in?

Of course, the perfect soundtrack.
