Look for 70mm films. Lawrence of Arabia, Ben Hur, The Master.
Can't beat 70mm chemical processed film, expensive as it is. Red 9k film aint got nothing on this.

I just answered THIS in another thread:

"When I saw this I thought almost that EXACT thought. Or rather I realized, that much like in The Godfather, almost every frame of this film could be hung up on a wall and not look out of place amongst other fine paintings.

Don't believe me? Fast Forward and randomly Pause at wherever. Then try to disagree it's a picture (photo) worthy of hanging at a wall in any house. VERY hard to find a freeze frame that doesn't in this one."

That was before I knew this thread existed. But as the OP and many other says, every frame is beautiful, and The First Godfather movie is one of few (if any) films as beautiful.
