Andy

Andy was as interesting as Jay and Claire. His love for Claire was puzzling. He supported her in her thespian quest but it was evident he knew she had little talent in that arena – still he was supportive. He reaffirmed his love when he told Jay he loved her even more (why he loved her ‘even more’ – I couldn’t possibly explain). I wondered how in the world Andy and Claire ever got together in the first place.

In his outburst in the cab he said “it pains me to say (you’re a poor actress)”. If his sole aim was to hurt her he wouldn’t have stated how it pained him to tell her the truth. A truth she herself admitted to her friend when confessed her affair and described herself as a talentless dabbler in the theater. Andy was telling her she was such a poor actress she couldn’t even pull of a decent straight face when Jay walked into the dressing room.

She sliced and diced him pretty good as she left the cab – wow! I don’t know how they were going to get past that – but evidently they were since she said she wasn’t going to stay with Jay.

The husband was real everything else was not, she needed the conflict with him. underneath it all i believe they loved each other but in was an abusive and make up type of thing she must not have been able to shake. The other guy was the opposite when he cried i kept saying you are exactly what she does not need another broken man coming out of a relationship. as this wa how she and her husband met.
