Queen Elspeth More Beautiful than Snow White
Actually, in this film, Miranda Richardson as Queen Elspeth was more beautiful than Kristin Kreuk as Snow White. The Queen should have nothing to worry about.

I agree. Miranda is so beautiful. I am a Miranda Fan so when I saw this movie I'm like Holy Cow Miranda is really pretty but not when she's in her Ugly Person Form at the beginning.

Well, Miranda Richardson is prettier than Kristin Kreuk, but generally Snow White is supposed to be more beautiful. Mind you, the genie says to Elspeth at the end that Snow White was no threat to her until she imagined her to be- is that meant to imply that Snow White wasn't more beautiful than Elspeth, Elspeth was just more paranoid about her, or am I the only one who interprets it that way?
shareThey aren't necessarily saying who's more beautiful than who (I do agree, though, Miranda is so gorgeous) but I do agree with your interpretation of Snow White only being a threat to Elspeth because Elspeth saw her as one. The mirror told her what she believed and for all those years she was so happy with how she looked that she was convinced she was the fairest of them all but then she realized that a man preferred Snow White over her and so she immediately thought that Snow White must be more beautiful, so the mirror told that Snow White was more beautiful.
