I had forgotten completely about it. I watched it and Pooh's Corner. I wish there was like a dvd or something of them.

I loved this show too. now. i think if id watch it it would be terrifying, which makes me want to see it again even more. I can still hear the theme song in my head as I type this. and i remember. that dumbo could only fly with the red feather, and...the thing that sicks out in my head the most, is leos creepy voice. is that character, gay or lesbian....i just dont know. but its one of them. anyway, i love that show, and i miss it. Its a classic, and i miss it so much! i want to see it again!!!! anyway. thats all!

So did I... it was excellent stuff for kids. I can't believe Disney didn't think to put like the first episode on that 60th Anniversary DVD of Dumbo!

You might like to watch the opening credits. Here's the link:

You should explore the whole site (mystiesplace.com). They have media, pics, and info about Pooh Corner, and all sorts of other 80's nostalgia.

I have a couple episodes on a tape. Wow, I haven't seen this show in forever.

yeah i loved this show too! I was wasn't even born when it premiere (1985) but I guess there were repeats... but I guess I loved the repeats! I remember my favorite character was the kitty!

Do you know where I can find the videos to purchase. What episodes do you have?

reply

I remeber watching the re-runs on Disney religously as a kid in the early 90s! I have about 6 episodes that I taped, but they are so grainy now, you can barely stand to watch them.

Dumbo's Circus and Welcome to Pooh Corner were two of my favorite shows too. I have most of the Pooh Corner tapes, and I have about 4 1/2 hours of Dumbo's Circus on tape that I am putting onto a dvd.

I loved this show too; my gosh, such memories. I remember when Disney Channel was great and aired these episodes including Welcome to Pooh's Corner. I'm glad we now have Disney Plus channel on Roku because it airs all those vintage Disney movies and cartoons. Disney Channel is not the same anymore....
