I think this is one of the most underrated films in a long time. Cate Blanchett always gets so much credit for her films, and they always seem to gain some kind of fan base just because of her prescence alone. This movie, though, I found very hard to find and hard to search for online because there was so little about it.

I though that this movie, about the undeniable and unexpected love connection between two people, was one of the best I've seen in a long time. And I loved the ending. Great movie.

It took me many years and recommendations before I watched this film. WHat an amazing experience, highly recommended!

I agree with all the praise this movie has received here. I stumbled upon it just recently and thought I would give it a go to see Cate. I fell into the performances of both leads and was trapped in the energy between them until that helicopter vanished. Slow or fast who knows, I dont remember another thought on my mind until I drew breath looking at a clear blue sky on the screen. Outstanding performances made this somewhat silly plot totally irrelevant to the movie, I could have watched them together for hours. I was challenged and deeply moved by this movie. Highly recommended.
