I couldn't stand Zellweger and her AWFUL impression of a British Accent!!! There are plenty of talented British actresses who could have played a better Bridget Jones. The whole cast was British save for her. Fielding should have had more say in the development of this film, just as Rowling did for the Harry Potter films.
