Out of all of the young murderers, Lisa is the most crazy.

Lisa acted like this whole murder was like some "big romantic adventure with her boyfriend". She didn't show any remorse for orchestrating a murder of a human being. Bobby maybe a douche bag, but murder does not solve a problem because it would only make things worse. The way she was acting when she told her friend about the murder and laughing about it as if it was funny was very disturbing and twisted. She's clearly a psychopath.

She seemed like someone who was, in part, still in denial as to what she had done and was trying to minimise it as if it was all just a prank rather than murder.

Note how her voice tailed off when she got to the bit about Bobby's eyes hanging out. A little light of reality was starting to shine through her wall of ignorance, and she didn't like it.

When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...

Good to see somebody recognizing Lisa as the craziest because I felt the same way it was the lack of remorse part that got to me. She was totally delusional and you can tell she wasn't 100% right upstairs.

Last proof that she's the most crazy she was the one that first suggested to Marty that they kill him. I had to watch the movie a few times before I actually realized she was the one who first came up with that plan.

she was like manson, a manipulator

On some level I get it. Before you jump down my throat, please let try and explain myself .
Lisa is dumb. Lisa is completely unstable. This is what we know.. Now this what i think, bare with me..
She thinks she loves marty. She thinks marty loves her. She thinks everything marty has ever told her about bobby is true. She thinks that if bobby wasnt around that there would be a perfect world with her and marty. Shes young and naive. She didn't think that they would actually go through with it. Who hasn't had a session with their
friends this person is this or this person that, or if I could kill
this person this is how I would do it.. After it happened she just got carried away with thinking her nirvana was gunna happen.. But
thats not what happened obviously..
Like I said, this is what I think she thinks! Do I think she is a complete psycho? Absolutely.. Do I think she is remorseful? Not one bit, because you have to know and understand that you have done something heinous and criminal to be remorseful. I'm sure shes grateful to be out of prison now... Whatever her name is now. I just feel bad for their son.
Thats just my opinion.. Ok.. So bring on the hate.

I actually agree with you. The thing about teenagers is that they're dumb and immature. Their minds are not as mature as the minds of adults because they make 10 times the mistakes than adults because they make stupid decisions without thoroughly thinking over it and not realizing the consequences of their actions. Sometimes, a teenager's mind can be unstable and unhinged, to the point it makes them act out of control over the littlest things (not saying Bobby's behavior is a small issue, but teenagers take things to the extreme when it comes to things that are unnecessary for them to create vindictive actions). One of the most gruesome and disturbing murder ever committed in the early '90s was the murder of Shanda Sharer by four teenage girls. They killed the innocent girl (who was freaking TWELVE!!) for no good reason, but there have theories as to why it happened in the first place. For decades, there has been numerous theories of why Melinda Loveless (Shanda's prominent killer) wanted Shanda dead. The main theory was that she was jealous that Shanda was too close with her on-gain/off-again girlfriend. Jealousy is typical for teenagers who act dumb and immature. Another known theory is that she was suffering from a severe mental illness that brought the worse in her.

& she wasn't very realistic about her "relationship" with Marty. that guy treated her like a piece of *beep* & she still continuted to "date" him, pledge her love for him, & defend him.

The hit man said it in the movie after they kill Bobby...

"Oh right, you were just our dates huh?"

No Conscience. No Remorse. No problem for those psychopaths.

reply

You're right! Hitman put it all into perspective. "You all know we actually KILLED a guy tonight, right??" His speech at the beach was one of the few times that the kids said something about the seriousness of what they did.

Agreed, the scene where she tells her friend from the mall what happened before asking for a ride is disturbing as hell, the fact she’s so blasé about it.

She was a true psychopath, don’t know if she was just portrayed this way in the film as I haven’t read the book.
