Taina - Worst Show Ever!

For all the years i have watched Nickoldeon in England - ive never seen a really bad programme until i saw Taina. Where do i start - the programme is awful - the jokes arent funny, the story lines are rubbish, the characters are woeful at best. For goodness sake - they are using people in their mid 20s to play middle aged teenagers. The only thing good i could say about "Taina" is that Christina Vidal is clearly a very talented singer, but she should stick to parts which are more relelvant to her current age. On the other hand, Renee Jones, she should be banned from acting for life!

I completely agree.Whenever I try to insult shows these days I always say, "It's almost as bad as Taina." My first impression of this show was basicly the cast was talentless and I wondered why anyone would ever be desprate enough to watch it. I'm surprised it lasted even 2 years I think this is quite possibly the wrost show ever to broadcast on televison!This show is indescribably terrible, you have to see it to belive it!

I have to admit I've only saw about 3 or 4 shows and then I coundn't pull myself to watch it 1 more time, it was so boring, and from then on ,I never watched it again

Thank you for putting them in their place because I love Renee on the show I thought she was a good actress she is smart and funny and if you can't a job in acting shut your mouth!

of course. it's entirely impossible for someone to dislike or even hate a show, movie, band etc that has no white people just because they dislike it. It absolutely HAS to be the absence of white people! Gosh, we're all just so stupid. Thanks for clearing that up.

I thought this show was great. It wasnt like other teenage shows. Over the
past few years nickolodeon took most its best shows off the air so Taina
was one of the few shows I still watched on Nickolodeon

Yeah, I sometimes wonder what can possibly be going through the heads of the producers of these shows let alone the fans! Well, at least it got cancelled! lol

This show was much better than the new "All That." That show hasn't been funny since Nick Cannon left.

The show never had an official end. The last epsode just aired and then left without any notice. so I assume that it got cancelled which there are far more shows on tv that deserved to get cut befor Tiana.

I haven't seen it since I was in like 3rd grade. I think its stupid that you don't like that the actors were 20 something year olds though. Uhh, watch any show or movie, the high schoolers are a bunch of adults. Well, look on the bright side--there was no Hilary Duff!

it got cancelled? I stopped paying attention to taina ages ago. I didn't even notice when the bros. garcia got cancelled. I doubt my 8 year old niece noticed either. that's bad when an 8 year old doesn't care if a show gets cancelled or not. all I remember about taina is the episode 3LW guess starred on, and christina vidal was hiding behind a curtain and lip-synching to a song by the group. or was she dancing with them. it was pretty odd.

I THINK THE SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I COULDN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT. I EVEN WENT AS FAR AS TO RECORDING THE SONGS ONTO A CASSETTE TAPE. I ESPECIALLY LOVED THE FIRST SHOW AND THE SONG THEY PLAYED ON IT U KNOW

The show was only watchable because christina vidal is HOT. adrienne wasnt bad to look at when she was on either.... whatever happened to christinas album that was supposed to come out awhile back

I like this show! Why do people go on boards only meant for fans of the show? It doesn't make any sense! If you don't like it fair enough but then why come and trash it when there are actual fans here?

I'm right along with you. Thing about it was that me and my lil clique of friends (and some of the class) were like a specific characters like I was Renee, and it's true, I am like Renee even though this is 5 yrs later.

Even though the actual show was plain crap, there was some really funny lines planted underneath all the stink. Then agian I suppose the show wasnt targeted at the 15yr old boy catergory was it? Its too much of a girlie show.

One thing I have to say is the great, great theme tune it has. It is just wonderul to hear it, and sometimes I only watch the begginnig just for the theme tune. Probaly the best theme tune for a TV show ever, aside from wrestling.

yeah! i remember when 3lw guest-starred and that was odd.. just like how i liked this show - yet, i admit it was odd.. it wasnt that it was funny but the actors were such good lookin! christina vidal was like the jessica alba of this time! and she's still beautiful today.. saw her on girlfriends.. latangela newsome is pretty & has big lips so she kept me tuned.. [and yes i'm a girl] im not too fond of khalilah adams but i do know she's related to kyla pratt [they're cousins] & i dont like kp so.. i'll just leave it at that. i know the father on this played on the brothers garcia [another short-lived nick show] and the chubby guy who played taina's friend, i saw him on a commercial last week.. all in all i give this show about 3 stars.. i mean, i watched it!

I actually liked the show...i thought Cousin Skeeter was worse than Taina. I thought that Taina could have been a better show had it not been on Nickelodeon because lately they have a tendency to make their shows with real people rather corny (not the quality days of Alex Mack, Clarissa, My brother and me, etc.)

I would not spend all my time posting about it.
It's not that bad anyway.
Some of the actors have had bad storylines and could have done better.
I mean i watched it some of the episodes were good some were not.
I must admit i mean i don't really often watch the repeats i liked Taina at the time except i have not been watching the repeats as often, i dunno maybe i grown out of it.

khleocrazy, how do you have 7 television channels but have Nickoledeon? Since Nickoledeon's a cable channel, I doubt you have it. I could be wrong, though,
