Blair Witch 2 was a great movie! Very suspenseful and chilling I thought.

Blair Witch 1 sucked big time. I hated that movie so much.

i've seen the movie years ago but it was definitely an outstanding piece of horror. maybe i should rewatch it to see it's flaws again but i never have a wrong first impression. i found the movie pretty awesome cause it went beyond the borders of the first one and had a pretty sick ending. And please don't bitch bout blair witch 2 bout being "the worst flick eva" if you've never seen any abomination by Uwe Boll (like "house of the dead") or any tom cruise movie. Yuckkkk

He didn't say he liked the first better than the second? Stop jumping to conclusions. And if I say I liked this movie too, does that make me someone with a terrible taste of film? What if I say some of my favourite movies are The Green Mile, Gladiator, American History X, Stargate, 28 Days Later, Donnie Darko and The Majestic... also, I HATED Cloverfield. Do I still have a terrible taste of film?

It's called an opinion! But I think you have a *beep* taste in films. But Oh I do realise you are entitled to your own opinion but for the love of Christ I can't see Blair Witch 2 was worse than 1.

The first Blair Witch had nothing in it at all! Nothing! It was watery, thin & was just 1 & half hour of them rumbling round a forest screaming & shouting at each other it was a bore-fest to the highest order & can't see what was so good about it! It sucked so hard!

The second one had action in it & had way more beef & interest going on! It furthermore had a good plot, great twists & just a really good flow going about it & had action & something in it which the first one lacked VERY badly!

I honestly don't get the hate with the 2 film it was a major improvement over the first which was the biggest pile of *beep* I've ever seen!

totally agree. i cant for the life of me understand people's love for these found footage, slow boring crapfests like blair witch 1 and paranormal activity. i watch them DESPERATE for something to happen and nothing ever does. i cant stand them. they seem to be popular with a group of people who are not typically horror fans and that explains everything.

i also thought blair witch 1 was awful. i actually went to blair witch 2 specifically because it wasnt found footage and still expected it to be awful but loved it. i pretend its a stand alone movie having nothing to do with part 1 and its really good.

The original 'Blair Witch' sucked infinately more than this. Actually, I enjoyed Blair Witch 2. It was a very cool play on the old reality vs. perception theorem.

Im sorry check the ratings,the net gross, the reviews, pretty much anyone with half a brain and you will see that Blair Witch 2 was a steaming pile of horse manure

I re-watched it last night as it was on due to Halloween and it was very poorly acted,poorly scripted, the plot made absolutely no sense,there was no tension at all,no suspense no anything just some jumpy images of creepy kids just absolutely no point to this movie at all Joe Berlinger just managed to create the worlds biggest turd and should be a toll booth attendant in New Jersey for the rest of his life where instead of paying the toll you just spit on him to raise the barrier

Anyone who thinks this was better than the original knows absolutely nothing about horror films and should really start facing the fact that they are an imbicile

This is NOT the worst movie ever made. After 15 minutes I thought it might be, but the presence of that Wiccan girl who gets her t1ts out later just about elevates it above Harlem Nights and King Ralph, in my opinion.

really! Harlem Nights did make me laugh in places so that greatly elevates it above a lot of movies like Batman and Robin,The Butterfly effect etc but im a big MSTE3K fan so i have to agree with the people who suggested Manos the hands of fate, was just the most confusing piece of garbage ever conceived

I actually liked BW2 & Harlem Nights and the original BW is an iconic horror classic, everyone remembers that film, not many remember this, even though it is a good film with a crazy ending IMHO.

Don't be one of those people who thinks that just because ratings, net gross & great reviews means it was good! It damn well wasn't!! I think YOU'LL find that the first Blair Witch was a steaming pile of horse manure!

The first film was bland boring & had nothing in it whatsoever! I was poorly acted, poorly scripted & had nothing to offer other than a bunch of 20 somethings screaming at each other around a damn forest for 1 hour & a half! How the *beep* can anyone call this a great film is beyond me!

Anyone who thinks the first was better than the second clearly doesn't know a good horror or know anything remotely about horrors alone & should accept they're a idiot!

I can;t see how anyone can defend the first film it was *beep*

any godzilla film, any flick with adam sandler, and almost every with tom cruise, every movie by uwe boll, american pie 4,5,6, latest movies with eddie murphy and steve martin... oh yeah alpha dog!!! this was one huge steaming pile of poop.. star wars are ridiculous storywise, dragon wars too, dude there's so much cr@p worse than this flick it's just impossible to name it all...

People like you frustrate me SO much. You always have to blow everything out of proportions. "Worst movie in the history of mankind".. please. Police Academy 7, Batman & Robin, Dungeons & Dragons, RoboCop 3, Charlie's Angels 2, Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.. any of these ring a bell? At least with Blair 2 the filmmakers tried to do something fresh compaired to the original. It's not the best movie ever made.. far from it, but still. Let's keep our feet on the ground.

I didn't want to frustrate anybody, it's just that I seriously think that this is the worst movie I have EVER seen. And I have seen a lot of crappy movies.

I have actually seen all of those films you listed, but eventhough they were also horrible, I was able to watch them through. BW2 was just too much for me. Maybe I should give it another shot sometimes..

But I admit that of course there must be films that are worse than BW2, because afterall, this is a professionaly made film. For example 'Ghost Lake' is technically a much worse film, the whole movie looks like a cheesy pornfilm, and the acting and the plot is far beyond imagination in its crappines. But 'Ghost Lake' was bad in a way that really gave me a laugh, something you can't say about BW2. It just pissed me off.

The plot of the movie is actually not that bad, it would be in a same tones of other J-Horror movies.

The movie is purposefully trippy and has various time dimensions and or are possessed, I found this movie to have quit some good acting from some of the main charachters, the ending was great though predictable I found it much more exhilariting and emotional then Hide and Seek and High Tension which are only gorefests.

1 - Erotic witch project is worse than this movie. If you don't trust me, just try !
And erotic witch project 2 was even worse, and the erotic witch project 3 and 4, I don't know because I did not watch them.
But the tony Blair Witch Project is worse than Blair witchc project AND Erotic witch project.

And all that is only for the movies wiht "witch project" in the title. Then, if this one is one of the best of the "witch project" it can't possibly be the worst movie in history

I havent seen this movie yet... I just came to this board to see if it was worth checking out. With that being said, I dont have an opinion on it, but can you really refer to a movie as "the worst movie in the history of mankind" when youve only seen the first 30 minutes?

Yea, this is true.. but it's just that I couldn't watch it any longer, it was so goddamn bad. It was just evil. It was like the Devil himself wanted to punish me and he made me watch this film.
I actually should try to watch this again sometimes, 'cause it's been over a year since I first tried to watch this.

It's a little tough to beat THE TELEPHONE with Whoopi Goldberg. I mean, it's just a big long movie with her playing a psychotic sick woman who talks to different people on the telephone throughout the entire film, only to find out at the end that her telephone is unplugged, and when the telephone guy comes in to try to tell her she butchers him and then continues to talk on the phone despite it being unplugged. I don't think a film could be any less entertaining, gross, or interesting.
