Asia is amazing

This movie is not as shocking as I thought it was going to be. It seems just as much about her dislike of hollywood as it is of her. I LOVE this movie but it makes me really sad to watch it, and it's kind of hard to watch because I want to help her. Either way, films are supposed to evoke emotion out of people and she is an amazing actress and director/writer who can do it well. I am in love with her.....seriously....and wish I knew her personally. Someone this talented (actress/writer/poet/director/singer/painter) is hard to find. But alas, the DVD's commentary is the closest thing I'll ever have to having a conversation with her. This movie is terrific, and I reccomend it to everyone. Just make sure you have an uplifting movie to watch after it, because this movie will haunt you for along time.

I didn't find the film terribly shocking either, but not for its lack of trying. I felt it was all a bit pretentious and self-indlugent.

Argento's impressive visual style kept the whole affair quite lively.

I agree. I really enjoyed it too. It was certainly a very unusual movie, visually and otherwise.

I was impressed with her. Sure, you can call it self-indulgent, but she gave such a fearless performance I think it's worth watching.
