Fullscreen or Widescreen?

Was this show originally full screen or widescreen? And what is the best DVD collection for this series?

If I am understanding this correctly, it was produced in widescreen (16:9) and available in letterbox format if shown in full screen (4:3). This is where I found this info: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0215392/technical?ref_=tt_spec_sm

I'm not sure about the DVD collections.

Pretty sure my copies are 16:9. But the show was definitely framed at 4:3. That's what they air on H&I. I'm not sure if they did that horrible Seinfeld crop thing or not.
