Vegeta has the best villain arc of any character.

It happens soo naturally over multiple seasons I cant think of another character with such an intricate and well fleshed out arc as vegeta.

it certainly didnt take the easy way. which is when the murderous psychopathic murderer see "da killing is bad" and somehow changes.

Vegeta's starting point isnt even as simple as a "murdering psychopath". once you realize his back story and what happened with freiza its far more complex than that. he doesnt just become good either.

when on Planet Namek he's reluctantly kinda working with Gohan and Krillin but only to get the power to beat Freiza and basically replace him. He still murders Namekians and would clearly kill Gohan with no thought.

it isnt until arguably when he sacrificed himself against Buu, where he becomes "good"

You're preaching to the choir. Vegeta's character development is one of the best elements of the series.

sure beats perfect Boy Scout Goku. I guess its why more complex characters like Vegeta and Gohan are more fan favourites.

now to the real questions. Vegeta voice acted by Chris Sabbat or Brian Drummond.

In all fairness Goku's character type serves a completely different purpose than Vegeta or Gohan. Goku is the example of the flat character arc. He as a character does not change, he changes the world around him for the better. Vegeta is a positive character arc. He changes himself from bad to good. Gohan is a reactionary character. He himself changes from scared little fragile boy to the u/ultimate warrior in the Cell arc. Goku is not reactionary he is an active character.

I get why you would prefer those types as they offer more change within the character but in the end it is comparing apples to oranges. As for Brian Drummond vs Chris Sabat this is tough. Okay if we compare prime vs prime I think Sabat is overall better. Now when Sabat first took on the role and he is doing an imitation of Drummond I go with Drummond. Basically from Buu Saga and on is when Sabat mastered the voice. Overall I take Sabat. This is coming from someone who first was introduced by Drummond by the way. I grew up on the Ocean dub.
