boy sex scene

I was just wondering is the boys sex scene where you can see his penis pop out availble in the uncut korean version or not please let me know

reply

Yes, the scene is available on the Korean version. The scene is thoughtfully done, although, unfortunately, triggers U.S. child pornography laws, since it is a sexually explict depiction of a minor. How to balance historically valid portrayals of childhood sexuallity and US child porn laws will forever be difficult. While child exploitation is abhorent and clearly illegal, such scenes as Renato and Lupetta make one wonder if some explicit motion picture depicitions of childhood sexuality are valid.

reply

Is it technically illegal to own the Korean version in the US?

Where would I be able to find the real uncut version of this movie?

reply

Why would you want to see an underaged boy's penis?
Are you a pedophile?

reply

LOL

My thoughts exactly!!

Wanting to see first hand the moviemakers' artistic vision for their film free of censorship is the reason why people want to see the uncut version of the movie. The director didn't keep this part of the movie in for an arbitrary reason; nor do any filmviewers wish to see a boy's penis for the sake of seeing a penis, they look instead for the meaning behind seeing it in the firstplace. Don't be so immature.

The reality is pedophiles WILL seek out this film to look at a boy's penis and to get off on the depiction of sexual acts between a 12 year old boy and an adult. It's defined as VOYEURISM AND KIDDIE PORN. That fact trumps the "artistic vision" of a sleazy director.

The idea that directors would not put sexual content into a film for "arbitrary reasons", or that filmviewers would not wish to see a boy's penis for the sake of seeing a boy's penis--but are instead merely looking for "the meaning" behind seeing the film in the first place--IS LUDICROUS.

"Jokes about beards"--ARE YOU REALLY THIS CLUELESSLY IMMATURE?

Then you beleive pedophiles will "seek out" the Sistine chapel and hundreds of high renaissance art.

In any case this film contains no underage boy's private parts, and you are incorrect in every single thing you assert. OK?

this is a great film and your comments are the only thing "Sleezy."

I believe any art should be presented as the artist intended. It's up to the individual to decide if they want to see it. I don't believe any art should be censored because a very small percentage of the population is afraid it will give an even smaller percentage of the population a boner.

I've seen the unrated and I don't get why people are making a big deal of it.. yes you see the penis pop out but it's not a close up and you have longer shots of Monica going over the boy kissing his body.. Nothing to really cry about here.

Sleazy director? Screw you, illiterate twat.

reply

Try learning the definition of pedophile. It means an attraction to prepubescent children which would be a little younger. The actor who played Renato was 16 when this was filmed.

reply

...honestly, I doubt seeing the boy's penis would make the movie much better. Use your imagination like Renato, pervs.

reply

don't show his penis in the uncut version ....

reply

Original Italian version runs 109 minutes. Miramax cut the film down to a running time of around 92 minutes. Gone or shortened were many of Renato's dream sequences with Malena which involve a lot more nudity than in the cut version.

Among the scenes cut from the American version of the film include several of Renato's sexual fantasies, including a scene where he undresses Malena, and another in which Malena strips naked in front of him and then climbs sensuously on top of him in bed.

miramax cut the film not because of this there isn't pennis in the uncut version, and aint't illegal have the korean dvd, they cut the film for the reasons to another, because they think the american public have to watch this film with reducted time, and for not being nc-17 the rating

reply

Easy option guys... always get the ilian version and then get the subtitles. Trust me i love to see the movies in the original language, they make more and more sense...

reply

You hardley even see it you pedo's should invest in a different film if that's what your after!

reply

Hahaha. Penis. Uncut version.
Am I the only one that finds that funny?

Just wondering, what makes it artistic?

Is his penis flaccid or hard, does that add to the artisticness?

reply

Nasty pedos! Yes it IS illegal to own it in the u.s. because it would be considered kiddie porn.Artistic integrity my ass,you need to see a young boys penis for what?

reply

I would say that it is probably not illegal to own and does not go against any laws. It is probably artistic in the scene anyway. Also, the movie "Fat Girl" includes graphic child nudity including an erection and multiple shots of full frontal female teenage nudity. It is not illegal to own this movie (it is sold in the U.S. from the Criterion) and is currently in circulation. By the way, it isn't child porn if a child actor's parents are on set during the scene.

reply

I kinda stumbled onto this movie by mistake.

I can't see why anyone would want to SEE *any* directors artistic vision of a boy and a woman. At the same time, this movie scored a fairly decent score on IMDB so it clearly has fans.

I don't think WANTING to watch the uncut version would make you a paedofile in any way - but, personally (and I haven't seen either version...) don't see how it can effect the movie.

You'll probably know that Thora Birch was under-age when she brandished her breasts in American Beauty... Did her breasts make the film better or worse? Neither. It was a scene that fit the movie, but the movie wouldn't have been a failure had they not shown it. I can only imagine this is the same situation.
