The perfect movie for an introvert or to be more specific, an INTP?

I am an introvert myself, an INTP (one of the Jungian personality types, here's a link for your kind perusal, www.personalitypage.com/html/info.html) to be particular. I really loved the movie and the character and I think that all of that has to do with my being an introvert. By this I don't want to imply that none of its admirers can be extroverts, but I guess if you are an introvert you can relate to the character quite realistically. Amelie was one cinematic character whose every action seemed justified to me, just because I feel I would have done the same were I her.

So, what do you have to say on this. Don't you think this is the perfect movie for an introvert? Or are there any other movies that may appeal even better to introvert?

I'm an INFP- this movie strikes such a chord with me as well, and I find it very comforting when I begin to feel too ostracized for not being more extroverted. Yes, Amélie has to learn to become more bold at the end, but she doesn't completely change who she is, and that's what I need to do, and remember.

Since no one has responded to your original question, I'll try. I'm an INTP and the problem with being an INTP is we are a tiny fraction of the population and we think too much. Extroverts don't like us because we think before we speak and appear aloof.
Jean-Pierre Jeunet, the director of Amelie has made some great movies for introverts earlier in his career, Delicatessen and City of Lost Children.
I think Amelie appeals to introverts esp. INFP's but I'm going to watch it again from the perspective of an INTP and report back.

I'm an INTJ, and well, I loved the movie the first time I saw it. I'm currently watching it again, and as you can see by me being here, It doesn't quite hold my attention this time. I still love the character of Amelie though, and the music is amazing. The music in this movie is actually one of the largest reasons of me starting to learn the piano.

I am an INFP and I adore this film ^_^

I am more of a "STFU now" type personality.

INTPer here. I love the movie, because I can completely relate to Amelie. I know what it's like to have crushes on people from afar. I know what it's like to observe everything around you and go off in your own little dream world.

Though I don't know how accurate or scientific Jungian Personality Types are. But I am totally like Amelie, introverted and intuitive.

I always thought Amelie was a proto-typical INFP. A personality type which is not often seen on film, except for Jean of Arc.

I agree with this. I think Amelie is an INFP.

For what it's worth, I'm an INFJ and I completely related to her character.
