Hmmm. There is a lot of good music. I have the Chrono Trigger OSV(orginal Sound Version). 3 cd's of every bit of music, including the 2 unreleased tracks. I reall loved Schala's Theme. Corridors of Time of time is a favorite. World Revolution is good. This is the inner from of Lavos but not the last form. The Hidden Truth and The Trial. I like both of those for music. And of course Frog's theme, Battle with Magus. Those are all good. I really enjoy all the music of this game.

Corridors of Time is my favorite piece of music. That includes music outside of video games as well.

World Revolution was a good one...fit pretty well with a climactic battle. The Final Boss song made the fight feel as though I was really fighting to save the world (even though it took me a while to figure out the right Bit was the source of Lavos' power).

I'd have to say I thought Robo's theme, and Frog's theme, and the ending song(On the 'best' ending) were the best.

- Ruined World (2300 A.D): Especially the first time you see the grim future, it's just plain sad. "What went wrong?", I asked myself before knowing nothing of Lavos..

- Ending theme: One of the most memorable ending themes ever made! A truly bittersweet ending...

No one mentioned the jazz orchestrations of the songs done by The Brink of Time. Not too many people have heard the stuff and it's amazing how it is. The only ways you can get it is by either buying the CD (it's expensive and I think it's import from Japan.) or by downloading it off of file sharing programs.

Chrono Trigger, my favorite game of all time, has my favorite video game soundtrack of all time. My top ten songs from the game are:

10. Undersea Palace (the Brink of Time version is AMAZING)
9. Battle With Magus (another great Brink of Time track)
8. Sealed Door
7. Underground Sewer
6. Kingdom Trial
5. Schala's Theme
4. At the Bottom of the Night
3. Secret of the Forest (another great Brink of Time track)
2. Chrono Trigger Theme (an unbelieveable Brink of Time track)
1. Far Off Promise/Epilogue

Those that liked the music from this game REALLY need to check out The Brink of Time.

The theme is great but I really like

To far away times

the last track in the OSV when the credits roll.
600 AD is great too

BASICALLY ....YEAH its all GREAT.

I didn't buy the brink of time CD because I heard one track from it and I thought it was awful.

Then again, since the theme is "UNBELEIVABLE" i might check it out.

4) The theme that plays after you give Doan the seeds. It only plays once and its very sad, but beautiful.

Magus' Theme - My god! This is brillaint, never have I heard such amazing music! I feel like a dork to say this, but it's my favorite song... OO;

Zeal - Almost as good as Magus' Theme. Any thing from Zeal just rocks!

Lavos Core 2 - I dance in my bra 'n' undies to this! ^^ Just kidding, no I'm not...

Frog's Theme - Meh, it's alright. Not my favorite but still good!

Robo's Theme - LOVE this! Awesome beat!

Boss Theme - Best. Boss. Music... EVER!

Frog's theme, all the way. It is the only piece of music in the game I went out of my way to listen to. It is the embodiment of the Hero that is Frog.

The main theme, the one that plays during the openning, is a close second.

Magus' theme is good too, but it takes too long to really get going.

Frog's Theme was damn cool.

That game had a freakin great soundtrack....if you haven't heard Chrono Cross get it.....it's almost better than Chrono Trigger.

If you have WinAmp, you can go to http://www.snesmusic.org to download a plugin to play SPC files (Super Nintendo music files). You can also download the Chrono Trigger soundtrack there.

Most music in zeal is awesome, frogs theme is a perfect composition of medieval drama, the trial song is perhaps the games best, but almost unnoticed since it's only in the game once (I think?), Luccas Theme, ack. The whole god damn soundtrack is terrific, along with the game :) If such a thing as a perfect game exist, it has got to be Chrono Trigger.
