Is the worst Australian Movie ever?

Bad bad bad - lame story - weak script, poor acting - particularly Adam Garcia - this in fact be the worst film ever made? Totally cringeable I am sorry to say

reply

No. In fact, here are Australian films that are worse:

Cut
Bloodmoon
Young Einstein
Mr. Accident
The Real Macaw
Joey (cute kangaroo but it was boring)
Napoleon (though I've only seen the butchered US cut)
the Crocodile Dundee series (sorry, not a fan of this series)
Candy
Strange Planet

The Godfather Part II:Greatest Ever

We're gonna raise more hell than Hellraiser.

CANDY?
are you serious?
what the hale.
its a gooood movie.

- yes i agree that stupid napoleon bird.

reply

Candy does not deserve to be on that list.

reply

Yes. My god is it bad. I can't believe people actually like this tripe. Agree, Adam Garcia cannot act, Sam Worthington plays yet the same character and the use of blue screen, not to mention a tired soapish plot is laughable.

will have to watch this film agian then I'll comment.... surely it aint that bad.!

reply

Have to agree, acting was particularly horrible (obviously producers of Avatar didn't see this film in picking Sam Worthington). THAT being said, the Tap Dogs themed dancing was bloody fabulous!!!!!!! Thank you Dein Perry!!

"... pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever ..."

reply

I don't think you're supposed to watch this for amazing acting or cunning plot unravelling... ;-)

It's a dance film, designed to promote the show and the dance group.

I really liked this movie...if nothing else...for the dancing...;o)

No way. I saw this back in 2000 and loved it! Of course rewatching, it has a lot of cliched tropes but it is still enjoyable.

Plus Garcia is really hot and he has kept up his looks.
