Spelling of town.
Seems to me the spelling on the town was Gros Von or something similar. Isn't the correct spelling Gros Ventre? There is a Native American People by that name also.
Beats me. I was curious how far it was from there to Idaho Falls, ID, so I looked it up... 2 hours 9 minutes. However, Grovont, WY is how it appears in Google Maps, not Gro Vont.
