I notice that the film still isn't available on Netflix. Can the unrated dvd be legally viewed in the US, or is it also banned or prohibited?
It was never released theatrically in the U.S, but I don't think it is banned or anything.
shareUnrated films are never considered 'banned'. Rather, most advertising outlets (newspapers) and cinemas aren't really keen on showing unrated films. This has been changing lately, so it may not be the same kind of issue in the future.
