Who are your favorite characters from this game.
I loved all the characters, (well Edward got annoying at times when he would run away from battle) but my favorites would have to be:
Cecil: who is much cooler than Cloud
Kain: Because I love dragoons
Rydia: I love black mages! And she just kicked ass with her summons.
...truly hard to say. I love Cecil, but then Rydia was intriguing, and Kain's Jump ability was ridiculously useful. Unique (as opposed to FF6, which had dragoon boots you could equip onto just-about any character)
I don't know. I liked the monsters in their homeland. They were very nice and it was cute to see them talking to the crew about their world, versus the monsters in the upper world who were wreaking havoc. "I don't like these humans in our place like this, Rydia." LOL, this was a line that stood out for me. I recall my ex-girlfriend and I laughing at this when we played it together years ago.
The Sylphs were awesome.
Palom and Parom had the coolest Twin ability. Yang's kicks were badass.
King Odin was mysterious. Quite tricky to beat.
Cid was a good character. The dwarves were awesome. Man, there's so much in this game, jampacked with different folkloric beasts and mythology. The Japanese who created this game are geniuses. I owe them for one of the greatest experiences of my life: FFIV
