I was there during filming!

I was at Regatta the weekend the filming was going on. They were doing the race scenes during the actual modern day Regatta. It was so cool to see the new boats and the old boats on the water at the same time. It was a beautiful weekend. The movie was actually shot in 1999 and not released until 2005. A long wait but worth it. In 1999 Chip Hanauer came out of retirement to win that years Governors Cup in the Pico American Dream Boat. All in all a preety cool weekend.
