Do you still think about TW from time to time?

How so? Do you still quote it? Let's get nostalgic!

Always! I still to this day try to get people I know hooked on it,it really is a show that I will never ever forget. It made an impact on me,like no other TV show I have ever seen,and believe me I have seen many. This was a once in a life time show,it was just so brillant and really was ended far to soon.

I wake up everyday hoping beyond home that they will have realeased the rest of the seasons.

Some of my Favorite quotes are

Dante: [to Yokas] Do you find your friend with the scar amusing?
Bosco: Easy, Count Chocula. Or her "friend" will rip you a new one.

Prison Guard: Cruz! Cruz! Come on, come on.
Cruz: Speak up, I think a few people in Guam didn't hear you.

Faith: "Ma'am, did you call us all the way up here to turn off your kid's Nintendo?"
Bos: "Playstation. It's a Playstation."

Bosco: "You do something to your leg?"
Faith: "Yeah, I did something to my leg. I followed my moron partner when he decided to jump the Grand Canyon."

I have tons more but need to head to bed,Ill be back with more later.

[after September 11]
Bosco: I feel like we aren’t doing our job.
Yokas: No?
Bosco: No. There’s been a crime committed and we aren’t doing anything about it. Can’t do anything about it ‘cause there’s no one to catch.

{about Carlos}
Sully: I hear he doesn’t have both oars in the water.
Davis: I don’t even think he has a boat.

{the one-armed is running away with his arm handcuffed to his ankle}
Yokas: We’ve got a foot pursuit, and uh, he claims to be armed.
Carlos: He’s only half right.
Bosco: Oh, da--- Stumpy! Wait for me!
Yokas: Fightin’ crime.

Yokas: I got two kids. One of them ever went missing, Bosco’s the guy I’d want looking for them.

Sully: What the hell's a Smoova?

[after Jimmy rappels down several floors to save Doc and Carlos]
Carlos: This is a hell of a way to make a living.
Jimmy: Don't tell the mayor... I'd do it for free.

Woman: Officer! Officer!
Cruz: No habla Ingles.
{woman starts speaking spanish}
Woman: You gotta help me.
Cruz: Somebody better be dead.

Seems as though "Third Watch" Message Board has changed a great deal since the time which the series were in production and now.

Back then, many were complaining about how over-the-top the show got with killing off cast members in big dramatic murders, and making life impossible for some of those poor cops and paramedics and firefighters, but then there would be those long scenes with Fred telling Faith not to be a cop, and their arguing about it, which made for a lot of bad writing to mess up the impact.

Also, I often wondered why fangurls did not make a big fuss over Jason Wiles back then. Was he not the hottest cop on TV at the time? What gives with that? They were making a fuss over much lesser actors than Jase, but seem to be passing up a good infatuation there.

And then when Charlie Day hosted "Saturday Night Live" this season, many on the "SNL" Message Board kept asking, "Who dat?" and "What up wit dat?"

But when I kept pointing out that Charlie is famous for playing Bosco's brother, some others were asking, "Who dat?" and that Charlie never does anything but comedy and stuff like that, which brought the discussion between "SNL" and "Third Watch" back to when "SNL" alumni stars Rachel Dratch and Tim Meadows guest starred on "TW."

Then now, I am remembering some other things about the series by checking back in here after a few years, but never forgot Jason Wiles, Charlie Day, Patti D'Arberville, Ty Bell, Josh Stewart, Kim Raver, Michael Beach, John Michael something, umm the one with the hair, that cringeworthy witch, and umm that other one who fights with Faith, and Joe Lisi as the Desk Sergeant.

LOL at your last paragraph - satire?

I agree with you about the fangirls, but you shouldn't judge. I, for one, was too young to come on IMDb message boards, but my love for the show has always been strong.

Yes, you are correct. I was just trying to lighten up a little because it would have been nice if "Third Watch" would have lightened up a little more than it had with episodes more like "After Hours" than without them.

Then I was trying to recall some of the more pleasant moments than those harsh multi-violent ones, which "TW" is famous for developing.

But I still say that Kim is one of America's finest actresses, and Jase is one of the finest actors ever even though I have not seen them on anything else. Would have been nice if they would have done "Saturday Night Live" while they worked in NYC, but then they were far too busy chasing after crime and bodies.

This show came out when I was a kid, and when I was grounded (often from TV) I'd write Third Watch scripts. I'd always write myself into them. I still have some of my little scripts and read them from time to time. They're pathetic.

I was obsessed with Jason Wiles back then too, and would frequent a message board on a fan site for him. I think there was also a Third Watch fan site I'd frequent as well, which I tried to find again recently but couldn't. Probably defunct.

I have the 2 seasons that are out on DVD and watch them sometimes, as well as the other seasons on youtube. Third Watch and Arrested Development are my all time favorite shows.

I loved this show a lot!! I own the first two seasons, and I have the others on DVD from TV from when it was on A&E. I would really love to have all the seasons released on DVD!! I also wish it would come back but I know that it won't. :(

I wished that the later shows didn't focus as much on the cops as it did because I thought that it was best when it also covered the fire fighters and paramedics. That being said I thought that it was a great show beginning to ending and it's the only show that would shock me!

I remember the one episode that made me scream out loud and be pissed because I had to wait a week. It was the one where Bosco was taking the young witness to the hospital when the gang bangers stopped the paramedics and opened fire into the ambulance. And you didn't know who was hit and who was OK. Such great suspense and stories!! Love and Miss It!!

I think about this show all the time. When it aired, my mom and I never missed an episode. I remember how realistic everything was and how a lot of the characters died. Alex's death was (up to that point) the most disturbing thing I'd ever seen on tv. Do you remember the 9/11 episode?

It never really hit me then the way it does now, now that I better understand it. I mean Jesus, all those names. TW did an amazing job honoring the heroes.
