Season 1 was really great. But I stopped watching it after seeing the first few episodes of Season 2. The show just became too soap-opery (like the latter seasons of E/R).
shareIMO Season 1 was definitely the best. I loves all the seasons but the last couple (when the majority of the stories were about the cops and we rarely had a stand alone story about the firefighters or medics) did become soap-opery. I did really loved the last 5 minutes of the series finale. It was pretty much perfect right down to the final word.
