AMC - O Brother!

Just catching some of the movie on AMC. They're blocking out the words "diddle" and "midget". Cut to commercial in the middle of 'I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow'.

They've just cut out the cow being shot. At 11.20 at night. Can't be showing animal cruelty at this time of night in case the kids see it.

I was just going to post that. Cut out both the cow being riddled w/bullet holes and the car hitting the cow (I remember backing that scene up and watching it over and over, it looked so realistic).

But then they have to leave out Delmar's pro-animal rights line, "Oh George, not the livestock!"

Yup, commercial right bang in the middle of 'Constant Sorrow'. I may not be in any way qualified to direct or edit TV but I feel I could do a deceit job at AMC. Don't be a d!ck....jobs yours

I remember when they used to show movies commercial free... Just watched the recording off AMC, and there were commercials about every 10 minutes. And there were cuts that made no sense... Won't be watching/recording any more shows off AMC anymore.

watching movies on basic cable has just about disappeared from my life for good.. I can't stand it. I could probably deal with the commercials (but that's annoying too.. sometimes ruining the mood you were in during important moments). But on basic cable they just HACK UP scene after scene.. I hate referring a great movie to a friend and they say it wasn't very good.. or wasn't very funny. Come to find out they watched it on a cable network with commercials every 10 minutes and cut out complete scenes of the movie.

If the movie is rated PG-13 or R... don't even bother if you want to see the full thing.

Me too. I would rather buy the DVD and be able to watch it when I want to and be able to pause it so I don't miss anything.
