Take time

to remember the men who lost their lives liberating Europe 75 years ago today.

Such different times......the people seem much tougher and more patriotic back then.

Folks in that era were more resolute in their faith and patriotism and through those they were able to tackle just about anything. From a crushing Depression, through a brutal World War, to the start of the Space Race in just a few decades Americans believed anything could be accomplished. Then came the late 60s and it's version of the plague...the counter-culture. Patriotism was targeted first for ridicule and later our faith in God was to be systematically snuffed out via some very liberal courts.

Nowadays the hippies of old and their loopy ideology are still around but have been mostly replaced with the social indifference technology brings us. I'm a Gen X'er and it pains me to see all this happening on my watch. I can't imaging how painful it is for the Greatest Generation to see it.

Thanks for your opinion and explanation.

I just heard some liberal say people who constantly exercise are too conservative .

They even hate the idea of a family with a mother and father.

They seem to praise mediocrity. And look down on successful people who are not of their kind
