Why were the Eds so repulsed by the Kanker sisters?

Okay I'll admit, they were trailer trash and they are a destructive bunch, but if they actually got into a relationship with them it would come with its benefits, like for instance becuase of their combined strength they would get everybody to cough up their money to give to them and the Eds' would be swimming in Jawbreakers. Not only that but they'd be totally untouchable, minus, well for May, Marie, and Lee... Not only that, but think about it, how many other girls live in the cul-de-sac other than Nazz? These girls want them, take what you've got...

Because they're trailer trash, stalkers, and it's implied that they're also pretty unhygienic and don't really have many basic skills like cooking actual food (remember the "Kanker Burgers") or cleaning.

they are obsessed with the eds & lets not forget how they are always coming on a little too strong and practically try to "rape" them. Well, they probably think the Kanker sisters are ugly, that is part of why they dislike them. Now if they had three girls who looked like Nazz chase them they be all over that.

The more personalities you have the less boring you are!

Well, they come across as being pretty dirty and gross.

But mainly, they're not nice people. They're scary, violent bullies.

Imagine if the genders were reversed; it'd be seen as shocking and probably wouldn't have even been allowed in a kids' cartoon.
