why is everyone hating on this movie?? its a good comedy and was an independent film so dont expect the big name actors. however i think they could have gotten a better and hotter actress than amanda peet. the beg of the film is the best where they meet every week to tell about there weekends. i thought the character of eric was by far the funniest. a little dry in the middle but the ending scene when we learn amanda peet is a scammer is great. one of my fav movies...reminded me of an independent version of swingers

I thought it was great, a 4.3 rating seems ludicrous. Easily an 8/10

I also adore this movie. It is true to life in every aspect. To this day I still use lines from this movie at the bars and they still work. Asking is bout the sister works almost every time. This movie is timeless.

while this movie is definitely not worthy of a 10, i can not understand why it is at a 4.2. i thought it was funny and entertaining. watching three guys that are so terrible get whipped by one woman is hysterical to me. this is a solid 7/10 for me. i will be laughing to it a least once a year for some time to cum.

This is actually one of the better "stupid" comedies I've seen. It's entertaining because all those guys are so full of themselves. They do actually exist! Even though the acting was not up to par, I still enjoyed this movie.

I remember watching this when it was out in theatres. I believe it was a limited release. There were only about 4 different groups of people at the theatre.

This movie is definitely not for everyone. However, I still watch it about once a year on DVD. And yes, there are so many worse movies than this one.

Favorite scene: when Zeke needs to go buy condoms and Amanda Peet tries to have him admit the smaller condoms would fit better (package says "Size doesnt matter"). Then some asian dude comes by and buys the large ones. Classic.

It's 4.2 because they are all the characters are *beep* Mia reminded me of this bitch who did just that. It's not so funny if one of the guys has genuine feelings for the girl. They should have shown the scene where the girl falls in love with someone who turns out to be scamming her. As I said, they're all *beep*

This "movie" is pure trash, c'mon people, listening to guys talk about weather they've "stuffed" or "railed" a girl presented in this smug manner is absolutely idiotic, it's not funny, not original nor entertaining.

If this movie is true to life in every aspect then I suppose we live in one giant country of Vapid, Self-Serving, Self-Important, Frat-Boy Asshats, and venemous, predatory females bereft of any caring, feeling or emotion, and we're all just out to outscam, *beep* and out *beep* each other.

I'd slap this *beep* movie if I could.

Zeke, was a douchebag that could not pull off playing a douchebag.

The premise of the movie was quite enjoyable and played out well and the rest of the cast was above par for the course.

But overall that dudes inability to in any way allow me to believe that he was actually capable of seducing a woman let alone an attractive one would not allow this film to get over a 5 from me. He killed it.

While I'm on the subject, the word "scammer" died long before this movie came out and I guess the writers just didn't know that or didn't care. That fad of "scamming" on women was gone as quick as it arrived. Anyone still using it was just like the main characters sitting around lying to their friends about the previous nights exploits.

Playing, running game, macking and a slew of other words and terms could have been used that would have made the group not seem like a bunch of 30 year old junior high kids who can't even keep up with the terminology of the bar scene they so obviously love.

^This. Thank you. Today, in 2020, “scammer” is a jackass Sakawa Boy is Ghana posing as a beautiful nude woman on a dating site trying to raise money for “her mother’s cancer surgery,” who is going to come to the States and your bed RIGHT AFTER.

No woman with a brain or self respect would let herself be seen with these 3 walking after-births.

On TV, it had one 'star'. So 4.2 may be generous.
