Emerging from the LCL ocean

I wonder how long it took Asuka and Shinji to emerge from the LCL Sea?

This reminds me a lot of Fate/Extra Last Encore. It took the main character 1000 years to come back from the grave. Also, reminds me of Fafner in the Azure. Soushi eventually forms and comes back after getting assimilated.
