Isaac Mentnor has the be the least visible cast member this side of Charlie from Charlie's angels, was there some complication with Normal Lloyd or was it a matter of scripts that he seemed to be so often absent?

Not just that, but did you notice that with the beginning of season 3, they changed the opening credits and removed Mr. Lloyd and Sam Whipple completely? They continue on during most of the last season, but seem to no longer be principal cast members.

shareI got that impression too. Maybe the writers/directors couldn't handle such an accomplished actor? They should have given him some decent parts.
After season 1 he almost vanishes, the whole season 2 he has maybe one sentence text per episode, if at all.
