Yeah. And though I like this movie knowing this makes a few scenes less dramatic. Like the famous scene where Cole tells Malcolm his secret that he sees dead people. Then makes him promise not to tell anyone. If you have seen this more than once or if of course you haven't seen this film but know the twist already, that scene is less impactful since you know Malcolm can't tell anyone Cole's secret. There's also the scene where Malcolm tells Cole he won't help him after being told his secret and says he wants to spend more time with his wife. Since you know he's a ghost you know therefore his wife can't see him. So after not having much luck with his wife he's probably going to go back to see Cole.
