Would I like this show?

I thought the original was awesome. But I hate every single one of the sequels with a passion. So, do you think I'd like this show?

Cool, I'll definitely check into it then. Thanks.

Well, I got the set a couple weeks ago and when I watched the first episode, I gotta say, I wasn't impressed. I wanted to stop it within the first 5 minutes, but I went on anyway. Then I got to the second episode and that was even worse. I was just about ready to stop watching completely, until I told myself to watch one more episode, and I'm so happy I did. The third episode was awesome. That's about all I can say about that. If the rest of the episodes are as good as that one, I think I'll love this show. Thanks again for leading me towards buying this.

I noticed that too about the makeup. At first I was thinking it was the whole makeup just appearing that was throwing me off, but it was because of how it looked. Which is another reason why I liked episode 3 so much, the makeup resembled Brandon Lee's much more. Lol, no, I'm not the Matthew Perry from Friends. That would be cool if I was though...

I'll agree, the 1st two episodes sucked...they were there just to sum up the movie for people who had no idea what the plot was. The series is pretty good though, beats Crow 4. I remember watching it when I was like 10, I liked it from then, which led me to buy the movies, and then buy the series on DVD, when it finally came out.

Highly doubt it. I've only seen a few clips, but it's terribly written, the quality is cheap, the actions looks rediculous and it doesn't have the visionary artistry of the original. Also, I find it completely disrespectful to Brandon Le (R.I.P.) and therefore, I refuse to even be payed to watch this!
In other words, if the sequels were crap, this may well make them look like Oscar winners!

Typical late-'90s attempt to take dark, violent source material and make it palatable for TV, helmed by one of the writers of Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. Half of the cast were good, and about half of the episodes were solid, but its low production values, hacky writing, and abysmal guest actors really dragged it down.
