Who Killed Dom?

And why? I've seen this ep several times, but I can never figure this out.

If you were observing this nutty planet, would YOU want to make contact?

The most info I could find. Don't remember if they ever resolved the details in Season 4.

An abridgement of the deleted text could be developed for the main Airwolf article or a "List of Characters" like many other TV shows has.

I just got into Airwolf last year because I saw it on Netflix. Unfortunately, it's gone as of Jan 1, 2017! But I did manage to watch about 3 1/4 of the 4 seasons. I always liked Dom's character and thought Ernest Borgnine was one of the best character actors of the time. But the way they unceremoniously kill him off in episode 4.1 is really ridiculous. It almost seemed vindictive. I'm not sure what other word to use. They brought back JMV for the season 4 opening, but couldn't bring back Borgnine? If it had to do with a filming schedule conflict, I guess I could understand it. But if it was that they didn't want to pay him for 1 last episode, then I'd be really disappointed. His "death" is one of those moments where you have to yell at the TV. As in "WTF!"

Borgnine turned down the offer to reprise his role.
