This movie is a masterpiece

Despite its "cult" status, it's a pity this movie isn't more famous... I think it's a masterpiece. The atmosphere is perfect, the camerawork is amazing and the music perfectly suits the deranged mind of the killer.

It fits him so well that one can wonder whether Klaus Schulze wasn't actually insane too.

There is something fascinating about this movie, it's truly a spellbinding experience.

For me, it's as if the camera was the eye of the killer himself, as if his own insanity was watching him... it's especially obvious after the taxi scene, when the killer runs away in a forest.

I don't know how to explain that, but anyway I think it's the only movie with such an atmosphere, and I've seen a lot of gritty films.

"I'm afraid of myself, I'm afraid of what I am..."
