Is there anyone NOT looking forward to the new WL?

I honestly, don't have a good feeling about this show. I just feel like the newbies that are coming on the show will bomb. Do any of them have ANY experience in comedy and improv? I'm sorry but it's not going to be the same. I rather have Colin,Ryan,Greg,Chip,Brad,Wayne,Jeff,Denny, etc back on. That's why I won't bother with it. Sorry. Even if I did want to watch it, I don't have the CW anyway. I mean maybe I'm wrong, do any of these newbies that are coming to perform on the show have ANY experience in comedy/improv?

I know the host does, good for her.

reply

I'm pretty sure many of the original people didn't have much, if any, experience prior to the show...I can't even remember seeing Chip or Greg in anything before this show, or Wayne for that matter.

reply

FFS, you think the people they have on Whose Line had no improv experience? You might be more stupid than the OP.

reply

I'm sorry for offending you (Not really), but as I'm not a fan of modern stand-up, I don't watch every comedy show on TV. Or modern sitcoms, for that matter, which doesn't even qualify as improv.

And you're also on my ignore list. I don't appreciate being personally attacked and making an assumption about my personal life just because I don't like "comedy" where people curse every other word, make sex jokes every other time, and think it's fun to make jokes about such issues as abortion or suicide.

reply

So let me get this straight...

You say, "I'm pretty sure many of the original people didn't have much, if any, experience prior to the show" and then say, "I'm not a fan of modern stand-up, I don't watch every comedy show on TV. Or modern sitcoms, for that matter, which doesn't even qualify as improv."

So somehow you were pretty sure that the original people had little or no experience in improv, then you admit you had no way of knowing if they did or not. So basically you just pulled your original idea out of your butt and yet claimed to be "pretty sure" about what you pulled out of your butt.

If that's not stupid and irrational, I don't know what is.

"I mean maybe I'm wrong, do any of these newbies that are coming to perform on the show have ANY experience in comedy/improv?"

How stupid are you that you think they have people on the show who have no improv experience? I swear, some of you people.

reply

How the hell am I supposed to know if they do? I never heard of the people they are talking about. Don't call people stupid, it's mean. I was just asking a simple question. Oh, congrats you're on my ignore list. :) Seriously, I swear in my experience whose line fans are jerks, like you.

reply

"How the hell am I supposed to know if they do?"

It's called common sense. Look it up.

"I never heard of the people they are talking about."

And you never heard of anyone else from Whose Line before they were on the show.

Again, common sense.

reply

Oh look whose stupid now, replying to my post when I can't see them because they're on my ignore/block list. What a dumb ass! :)

reply

Well, you obviously saw it, cause you replied. But yeah, I think the people they have on do have experience in comedy, cause otherwise they wouldn't risk having them on the show. Most of the people that have ever been on Whose Line did stand-up first, so I'm guessing these ones do/did as well. Unless you're talking about the special guests, who are just.. well, special guests, not performers for the whole episode :)

reply

Ahh, the internet. Where it's perfectly ok to start a war over something totally pointless...and you obviously don't know how ignore works.

I loved the first two episodes. Everyone was back on their games. The new fourths were funny. The games you loved were back as well as some great new ones.

EDIT: OP, if you don't get the CW you can still watch the episodes on their website.

Walt Miller. Am I right?

reply

Who, me? I'm not starting a war over anything, I was actually trying to end it, cause the OP and someone else were getting into an argument over something, like you said, pointless. And no, I don't, cause I've never 'ignored' anyone on IMDB, I was trying to say that if the OP really wanted to ignore that other person, they wouldn't have replied.

Otherwise-wise.

Not you. I was just expanding on what you had already said about ignoring. I agree with you on the below.

Well, you obviously saw it, cause you replied.

EDIT--when you ignore someone you don't see their posts or receive notification that they've replied to you.
