Funny things you notice after multiple viewing..

For me it was:
Enid observing the pineapple at almost hitting that guy on the head with it!

"Well why do you want it?? I mean it'll look stupid on you anyway!" xP

Anyone watched until the credits are over yet? Absolutely classic.

Roberta Allsworth's film is credited with, "Why Not Me? Productions". This is hilarious, because those who can, do. Those who can't, teach!

How Enid's father can't find his spatula because Enid has used it to apply her hair dye, and she doesn't tell him or care at all, she just leaves him hunting for it! Furthermore how he has entire conversations with her without actually listening to her retorts or jibes at all. And he has the world's most enormous pickle jar at breakfast.

The store manager trying to fight the hysterical redneck guy using a mop handle against his nunchucks, haha!

The stereotypical douchebag office guy at Dana's work.

"Six-Gun Strawberry, Wild Cherry Round-up, and Ten Gallon Tangerine."

"bookish fellow"

How Josh likes Enid more than Rebecca, even though Rebecca likes him and tries to hide it from Enid. It directly counters Enid's assertion that every guy prefers Rebecca to her.

The one door on Seymour's car that doesn't match the rest.

The way Seymour nervously tucks his collector's records back into their shelf after Enid pulls them out.

How Seymour's friend changes his mind about selling his stuffed mongoose, and then Enid changes her mind about selling her weird troll doll thing.

Seymour refers to Maxine as 'Enid's stepmother', but she's only Enid's father's girlfriend.

Rebecca's dress sense starts off grungy like Enid's, and gradually changes to more revealing, grown-up and mainstream as the film goes on and the two girls' lives diverge.

Rebecca is shown eating popcorn shortly after Enid displays distaste for it at the movie theatre.

Rebecca only seems to wear pale pink or light green.

Enid dresses more prettily than usual after she finds out Seymour's date went well. She had on a pretty dress and more make-up than usual for that scene at Cook's Chicken. I felt like, even though she didn't want to date Seymour herself, she was surprised by how alone/empty she felt once she actually got him a girlfriend, and she was trying to get his attention focused back on her.

Enid wore more conventional glasses to go to the bar with Seymour, and covered up her hair with a hat, like she was trying to blend in. She remedied both once she realised she didn't want to blend in with all the losers she saw there.

Enid seems more cruel and cold than Rebecca at the beginning, but that quickly turns on its head.

The female customer at the coffee shop who orders a decaf mocha and then snaps about a biscotti is grumpy because she's trying to give up caffeine!

The photos in Enid's photo album are real photos from Thora Birch's childhood. Childhood photos of her also feature in several of her other movies.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.

The funniest one I noticed:
when Enid walks into the food mart with Seymour and tells Josh Seymour is a friend and Josh just looks at them like "WTF?" and the ice cream splats to the floor and the little girls bursts out in tears!

Priceless.

Maxine says, "I can't help but feel I had some part in how you turned out." then Enid tells her she's in a remedial art class for f---k ups and retards. Take that Maxine.
