im a fan of genius just because of emmy rossum...so cute in that movie...wow

the perfect christmas present, that was tight

do yall remember that suck fest can of worms

reply

Ooh yeah I loved that one! But was that an original movie?

Actually I think it had something to do with the 90's factor of most of the movies that made me like it so much. =) It was less cheese and more meat. <--uh don't ask me what that means.

reply

This is probably the best Disney Original, ever.
Although Zenon, Smart House, and Luck of the Irish didn't suck that much.

reply

Seriously!!! I always though that they should have made another Brink! where Val finally stops acting like an ASS and becomes friends with Brink and then they compete together.. Together they would ROCK!

reply

Escape to Witch Mountain anyone? And Genius! I miss all those movies! But Brink! and Motorcrossed are my favorites... i'm in college and still watch them.

reply

ooooh! and Alley Cats Strike!

Gosh, I miss Zoog Disney! Brink! is probably my favorite EVER.

Do any of y'all remember Tru Confessions? Omgsh that movie! I freaking bawled my eyes out! SOOO good. Underwraps, Alley Cats Strike, The Thirteenth Year, Escape to Witch Mountain, Johnny Tsunami, Rip Girls, gosh Disney Channel Movies used to ROCK! lol

I gotta admit I like the Halloweentown movies A LOT.

and I'm looking forward to seeing High School Musical like y'all would not BELIEVE!

ya the new ones suck. i stopped watchin 3 or 4 years back. im 15 now but i love Brink! and Alley Cats Strike and Johnny Tsunami. those three had some of the best soundtracks i heard from disney. Brink! has my favorite band The Suicide Machines song Give on it which got me into them and at Bottom of The Hill in San Francisco i got to see them. Alley Cats Strike had Brian Setzer (i think). god...those are the only 3 i like now, the rest of them to me now i dont like. Brink! kicks ass.

Stepsister From Planet Weird, Brink!, Wish Upon a Star, Zenon, and Motocrossed were all great!

reply

I agree, the new ones suck. My favorite Disney Channel Original Movies are:

~Brink!
~Genius
~Smart House
~The Other Me
~Quints
~Cadet Kelly
~Halloweentown/Kalabar's Revenge/Halloween High
~Alley Cats Strike!
~The Famous Jett Jackson Movie
~Miracle in Lane 2
~Horse Sense
~Zenon/The Zequel/Z3
~Escape to Witch Mountain
~Twas the Night
~The Jennie Project
~The Thirteenth Year
~A Ring of Endless Light
~Underwraps
~Johnny Tsunami
~Can of Worms
~Jumping Ship
~Phantom of the Megaplex
~Luck of the Irish
~Tru Confessions

LOL, yeah, that's like half of the movies they used to air but whatever. Those ones were the best. Now the movies are either crap or only just so-so. They should release ALL of their original movies on DVD. I've noticed that some of them are released on DVD, but not all of them. And they all deserve DVD releases.

My little brother is in love with the brink movie and he is visiting me
for a very short time here in Los Angeles. He really wants to visit the
place where the Milk Shake scene happened, he said it was somewhere in
Manhattan beach. I really wanna take him there because it will make his
trip. Please help me find out where it is!!

reply

:-DI loved Horse Sense!! :-)and Jumping Ship
Haha, I haven't seen Brink! but it's on in 20 minutes...which is why I'm on this forum now :-D

DOES ANY1 REMEMBER SUZIE Q, I LOVE IT!

reply

A lot of the movies on your list are my favorites too. I occasionally check for DVDs, and have been disappointed. Several have now been released on Amazon Instant Video. I bought Brink!, The Thirteenth Year, A Ring of Endless Light, Phantom of the Megaplex, and Motocrossed for just $5.99 each.

reply

Agree, I used to watch so many Disney Channel Original Movie when I was a kid. With all that previews and stuff, Disney was seriously my favorite TV channel that time alongside Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. I mean, the old ones such as Brink and Luck of the Irish were so inspiring, and all their new ones seem to be complete ripoffs.

reply

[deleted]

the shows used to rock too! now the only disney shows i like are thats so raven, phil of the future, sister sister (i know disney didnt create it but ya)

the other shows like hannah montana, suite life of..(i know some of all like it but i think is stupid and pointless), life with derek, naturally sadie, etc

the list can go on and on.......

My favorites used to be Hounded, Brink, Johnny Tsunami, Alley Cats Strike, and then I remember this one movie, I'm pretty sure I saw it on Disney. All I can remember from it was the end when there was like a huge rollerblade race down like "Devil's Tailbone" or something. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

reply

yea dude the movie is called airborne. it has seth green in it. i dont know if its a disney movie but it is still pretty sweet.

reply

[deleted]

yeah i agree the old movies were wayyyy better. do you remember that one with the guy who was in smart guy and some girl who somehow made their parents younger. it wasn't the movie "Seventeen Again". but it was another one where they were scientists or something. i can't remember the name of it!

reply

[deleted]

Brink was the best movie. They should've made a sequel.

Wish Upon a Star was great too. The chicks were so hot in that movie.

reply

Their movies used to be better than even what you'd see in a movie threater but lately they suck.

The last good movie was years ago and same with the shows

The last two good shows were So Wierd and Smart Guy

reply

PUPS was pretty good too. But ya I agree the recent ones are all stupid and "preteenish" if you know what I mean. the only new one i liked was highschool musical.

Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless.

Does anyone remember the movie with the particle accelerator under the hockey rink? And it made it melt in the middle of the game or something? And the seliing-your-soul one with the older brother from Boy Meets World? I remember watching those, but I can't remember their names...
Also, by far the best movie was Don't Look Under the Bed. I still watch that, ALL the time.

Maybe the reason we love all these old Disney Channel movies was because we watched them when we were younger and when we see them now, we are reminded of the innocence of that time, and all the happiness it brings. does that makes sense? :)

Has my heart loved til now? Forswear it sight, for I never saw true beauty til this night.

reply

yea ur maaad right. yea wen we think of wen we watched those movies, we thought, wow, i could dat, or i would ove to do that. nd sometimes that made us try new things nd stuff, but now wen we watch it, nd as we gettin older like, we see that some stuff we wanted to do we cant do now cause life is catching up with most of us.
