Should Cheryl Ladd have been in this?

Cheryl Ladd had worked w/ Drew Barrymore before in Poison Ivy (her daughter, Jordan was even in Never Been Kissed w/ Drew). Plus, since Jaclyn Smith appeared in the second movie, this is presumably in the same continuity as the TV series. They could've had Kris Monroe appear as the Angels' mentor instead of the whole mess w/ Bill Murray (is he supposed to be David Doyle, the original Bosley's son, nephew, whatever).

I'm not sure why they didn't try harder to get the six angels from the TV series cameoes at least. Most other movies and remakes do it.

Jaclyn Smith was the only one who said yes. I understand that Kate Jackson actually sent the offer to appear back without even looking at it.
