Who here cries at movies with no shame?

I saw this movie when I was 11 or 12 with my mom. I cried from five minutes into it till about 3 hours after I got back home and was able to embrace my own dog to compensate for all the pain and emotion I bore for that wonderful dog Skip. But when you're not seeing the movie with your mother, it's hard to cry at theaters. And if I'd seen this film with anyone else, it would've been absolute hell. People tend to eye you and question you when you cry, which makes you feel uncomfortable.

Who's with me? The people who cry at movies with no shame and love it as one of the many powerful things movies can do for us!

I saw this movie on an airplane. I was travelling with coworkers. At the end of the film, I was in line for bathroom, and ran into one of my coworkers. We were both trying to squelch tears. We just looked at each other and said, almost together, "my dog..."

We weren't the only ones. The only other movie I ever saw make that many people tear up was October Sky, which had grown men sniffling.

That would be me.

Beware of the half truth. You may have gotten hold of the wrong half.

This movie is very sentimental...

First time I watched this movie, I cried, went to sleep, and even woke up in the night to cry again. Lol.

I first saw it when I was 8 and had just received a puppy for my birthday and I never let it leave me. I am now 16 and I just watched it again and cried my eyes out! SOO SAD!!!! I started crying from when he hit the dog to the very end =(

ME! I cried from the birthday party onward!
And pet my dogs while it was on!
I'm with you, and you know what? Having that kind of love for our dogs is a great thing. It's what loving your pet is all about--the love we give and the love we get.
Take care.

Hello everybody!

Oh, right here! I'm not somebody who cries a lot, as a rule, but when a film has the power to move me to tears...I don't care who I happen to be watching it with. No shame. I love movies that can do that, too. It can be awfully refreshing. And any movie where a dog dies? Forget about it! I'm a dog person through and through. Turn on the waterworks...

I cry at kleenex and folgers commercials, I'm that pathetic.

Movies like this really get my heart.

I watched this for the first time with my 8 yr old son. That was the first time I saw him get emotional at a movie. We love this movie. With no shame.

This is one of my favorite movies, I've got 3 Jack Russells all as lovable as Skip! It makes me cry too!

I love this movie. I saw it again today for the upteenth time and my tears started right on cue... when they're at the bus station saying goodbye. I grab the box of tissues and I sob until the middle of the end credits. My dog Sam was a mutt and he died a long time ago but I still think of him all the time. Maybe that's why I cry so hard at the end of this movie.
