You can find it on my shelf of videos. The first time I watched it I didn't want to see it because it was clearly propaganda. But after forcing myself to watch on, I saw the facts and understood how the German people felt back then. There were some very interesting statistics quoted. Overall, I felt like even in the "freedom of speech" US that my tape would probably be confiscated if they knew I had it.

People probably have called google antisematic, but the problem with tossing out retarded labels out at people for not thinking in the "correct" way is that people eventually begin to stop caring. Not only that, they begin to despise those people because they see what they are doing is very clearly manipulative.
It is a strange phenomena because the people seem to actually want to stop people from thinking or liking certain things, but they tend to make them much more popular than they could have ever been in the first place.
A prime example of this is Marilyn Manson. A very mediocre musician, proppelled to huge popularity because of stupid churchie protestors. Whenever there is something that is "bad" and "forbidden" people are always going to go check it out.
I don't know where to find it, I actually got on here to try to find out how to view it, with English subtitles (I don't speak German.)
To all of you upset about this, there is a legitimate argument that if we turn our eyes from the less palatable aspects of human history, we're destined to repeat them.
In The Eternal Jew, the whole of the Jewish race (I know, "Jewish" is not a race, it's a religion, I'm speaking historically, in what was the general belief of both Jews and Gentiles at the time) were literally compared to an infestation of rats. Less than two weeks after 9/11, there was a political cartoon in America in which rats were depicted to represent the citizens of various Arab nations. How is that different?
In the commentary for Uprising (2001), David Schwimmer and Hank Azaria mention a little boy who acted in the movie. The little boy was actually Jewish, and actually transferred out of his private school because of the anti-Semetic attitudes of his classmates and teachers.
It's frightening and sickening to think that a large number of people are actually still able to hate based solely on the color of skin, the shape of a person's nose, the religious beliefs and customs of a different group...
The ONLY way to prevent something like that from happening again is to provide COMPLETE education, looking at the hard truths of what average people allowed themselves to do, and why they did it. Some joined the Nazi party for social reasons, monetary reasons, out of a sense of disenchantment or because they felt they had been wronged, and needed someone to blame other than themselves. Some were just at fault because they did nothing, neither good nor bad.
It's been said by many people that the Nazis were able to hide everything except the stench of death when they burned hundreds of thousands, even millions, of bodies. I refuse to believe people in the surrounding areas were completely unaware of what went on.
Unfortunately, the only way to get a true sense of how bad things had gotten is to hear it from the Germans themselves. They printed articles, wrote books, and made films like this one. Yes, to anyone with a conscience, it's absolutely sickening to wade through the muck of propaganda they spread, but it has to be done, because if you don't add reality to the stories, they're nothing more than fiction.
Even more unfortunate is the fact that most of the sites where The Eternal Jew can be viewed are not historical societies who are trying to preserve history, but are sites of groups who hold up that filth and say that it's correct. My hunch is that anyone posting on the board for this film has a basic understanding of what they would be getting into when they try to view it. Posting a link to a neo-Nazi website, for this purpose, is not entirely evil, as long as you don't follow in their belief. Ignoring the fact that Neo-Nazi groups flourish online is just as bad as people back then allowing themselves to remain ignorant of the truth just because the truth is bad, and knowing the truth would mean you'd have to make a decision.

imdb is surely used for research and i would hate that if people try to inform themselves about such a delicate subject stumble directly into the moronic stuttering of some (more or less) antisemitic idiots.
for example: forget the statistics in the movie about income etc.

And for the record -- I went on to look what is it after reading a news article that there's going to be a list of 14 banned pieces of media in Russia, including one news article, several books, one song album, and this movie.
