I'm sorry, but how are we supposed to feel sorry for Rob when Josie exposes his true identity?

You might recall that Rob along with Mr. Coulson, is upset with Josie following the prom. Josie when she reveals to everybody that she's actually a 25 year old undercover reporter, also tells them that her brother Rob had been pretending to be a high schooler to. Rob is mad because now that everybody knows that he's a grown up, he can't play in the championship baseball game.

My point is, while I can understand how Mr. Coulson is upset with Josie over her deception, I can't for the life of my find any sympathy for Rob. He unlike Josie, deliberately put himself into that position. Unlike Josie, who had to pose as a high school student for her job, there was no reason why Rob had to go through all of that even if he claims that he's "helping" his sister.

And Rob's argument that he was doing Josie a favor by helping her garner favors with the popular crowd at school doesn't carry weight, because Josie had just admitted that she no longer cared about being the prom queen after the attempted Alpo prank on Aldys.

And even if Rob's plan didn't go to hell and a handbasket due to his sister exposing him, he would've technically been cheating (since he was a grown man playing against children) if he did go ahead and play in that game. And how long did he intend on keeping up the charade that he was much younger than his actual age, if his hope was for pro scouts to see him?

We're also supposed to assume that because Rob grew a conscious by turning down 17 year old prom date's (the gymnast) proposition for sex, that immediately makes him a good guy. This is despite the fact that he already knew that the girl was underage and frisky.
