Okay, I agree with most of the people that alot of the highlander movies sucked.. But Endgame is really good! I loved it. It rivals the original Highlander in my opinion. Though it is a bit cheesy with the whole Japanese scenario. But I loved the way they adopted the religion scenario and absorbed it into the Highlander world. Because religion is what keeps the world spinning for some people. And it shows even the most religious and forgiving can go bad.

Highlander 2 was flawed from teh outset (although financialyl the most successful film)
Highlander 3(Sorcerer, Final Dimension) was basically a remake!
The Source was an attempt by Davis to try something different but did not work out IMO.
I cut this one some slack compared to other installments because it did feel like it was trying to tell a really good story, it just needed to be better refined. The rest were either way too out there or rehashes of the first movie. I find this to be the only at least watchable one of the follow-ups. Though I think the first is a far stronger movie.

Blame William Panzer for ruining anything. If anyone really thinks the second or third film is any good then whatever. They're not.
The series, when you get over the fact that the 1st film didn't end, is pretty good even though it's a lot of repeated bs.

Endgame was made of cheese. I did not enjoy watching it, not a good movie by any chance (really looks like a generic straight to video feature), and not as memorable/classic as the first, but not THAT bad. Simply mediocre.

I gave it a low rating because I could not follow what was going on. After the first 30 minutes, I only kept watching for the scenes with Donnie Yen. In fact, the only reason I even considered watching it was because Donnie Yen was in it. So, for me, it started out with 2 strikes against it. I really enjoyed the first Highlander, but I didn't care for anything that followed.
