Worst bond movie...worst girl (Richards)

I thought this wawatching the worst of Brosnans Bonds and the worst Bond overall....The plot is so complex, Strange, and pointless...the action was ok but overall I just felt the plot was so bad I couldn't click with the movie. Not sure what it was but Bond didn't feel like Bond...Also right when Denise Richards was introduced and muttered her first words, I wanted to stop watching.

I'll never get why fans latch onto Richards as somehow worse than the majority of of Bond Girls. Why single her out? Is her performance good? Not at all. Is the CHARACTER good? I think so. If anything Richards earnest try at the performances makes her stand out as a genuinely good Bond girl, even for if it is mostly for comedy.

Of all the Bond Girls, not many of them have been GOOD actresses. In fact, most of them have been BAD actresses. Richards is no worse than 80% of the women to have played a Bond Girl.

The first time I watched TWINE, I had no idea who Richards was. So for me, Christmas Jones was just another Bonds girl. So I'm assuming that many people new too well who Richards is and simply couldn't buy her in the part. Personally, I think the character is great, and think she gives Christmas an edge and sassiness that's akin to Goodhead (who I actually don't like to be honest), Tiffany and Pussy Galore. What I like about Christmas Jones is that she actually has a job to do, she knows what she's doing and in the Bond-o-verse being a male escapist fantasy, a nuclear physicist that looks like Denise Richards is fantastic. Just like a beautiful girl being the only civilian on Dr No's island, just like the daughter of one of the biggest crime syndicates happens to be stunning and Bond's wife-to-be, just like Russia's top agent happens to look like Barbara Bach.
